PREPARATION FOR WORK
Place the grill on a level surface at least 0.5 m away from flammable objects.
The table surface must be horizontal, dry, smooth and stable.

During transportation, the steel surface of the grill body is covered with a protective polymer film. This film must be removed before turning on the grill.
Using a damp, soft sponge, remove any remaining oil (this is a product that protects the device from corrosion during storage and transportation) that covers the cast iron plates.
Remove it as carefully as possible without using abrasive products or tools that may damage the grill surface.
Do not wash the grill under running water or immerse it in water!

Dry the grill, then set the regulator to the maximum temperature and preheat for 30-40 minutes.
After the excess grease has burned off, carefully remove the burnt oil using a brush or dry sponge.
Caution! Work surfaces are hot.
Avoid touching them with exposed areas of your body!

When first used, the grill may emit odor and smoke from burning lubricants.
We recommend carrying out this procedure in a well-ventilated area or outdoors.
After thoroughly cleaning the work surface, it should be heated with vegetable oil to prevent food from sticking.
Using a clean cloth, apply a thin layer of vegetable oil or shortening to the grill surfaces.
This layer should remain on the hot grill for 30 minutes.
Remove excess oil and wipe dry.
Apply another layer of vegetable oil or fat to the hot work surface for another 30 minutes, then remove excess oil and wipe again.
The grill surface is ready for use.
CLEANING AND CARE
Always clean the grill after cooking and do not allow food residue to dry on the grill surface.
Clean the grill with a grill scraper/brush or a damp cloth to remove excess oil/grease and food residue into the drip tray.
Never use cold water on hot grill surfaces!
Remove the tray, wash it with warm soapy water and dry it thoroughly before placing it back into the device.
If burnt fat and food accumulate, the grill should be thoroughly cleaned and re-seasoned.

IMPORTANT! These recommendations apply to grills with cast iron cooking surfaces without a Teflon coating.
