Batch freezers are designed for making traditional hard ice cream. The final product temperature ranges from -8 to -12°C. Ice cream made with these machines is further hardened in a low-temperature freezer to a lower temperature. The finished product is then sold through refrigerated display cases (in gastronorm containers) as scoops. These scoops can be served in waffle cones or individually as a variety of desserts.
