What is Low Speed Technology System?

Companies like Kuvings and Hurom LC Ltd have developed and manufactured vertical auger juicers that utilize the Slow Juicer principle. This is because the shaft rotates at only 80 rpm, compared to 1,000-8,000 rpm in centrifugal juicers. However, this doesn't mean it takes longer to extract juice than a centrifugal juicer. This technology works by gradually moving the product into the gap between the auger and the sieve, resulting in grinding and compression. The implemented design solutions offer numerous advantages over centrifugal juicers (shown clearly in the table below).

High-speed rotation of the juicer causes intense friction and, as a result, heat.
