Milkshakes

It's no coincidence that this business is at the forefront here. Among other summer entrepreneurship ventures, it pays off the fastest and requires the least initial investment, with every chance of success even if the weather turns cold. Notice how, for several years now, when we visit large shopping centers, we've all seen a simple and straightforward cocktail-making process. And there are constant lines of people eager to try a cool drink. Winter and summer, day and night. Promising? Absolutely!

Now about the technology. The key principle is to create more foam! The frothier the milkshake, the richer its flavor will be perceived by the consumer. The foam itself is whipped up by a mixer—the basic equipment for producing milkshakes. A wide variety of milkshake mixers (single-, double-, and triple-head) are available on the market, but a single-head mixer is sufficient for beginners. They vary in power, but the fastest is traditionally considered to be the American Hamilton Beach, capable of rotating the mixer at 18,000 rpm, allowing you to prepare five 250-milliliter servings in just 40 seconds!

Remember, the faster the cocktail is prepared, the happier the customer will be and the lower the cost of the finished drink. However, the high-speed Hamilton Beach is also quite expensive. A single-port mixer, or as it's also called, a single-group mixer, model 1G 936, will cost you at least $500, and a three-port mixer, $1,350. However, there are also cheaper Italian mixers from the brands Macap and Dihr, which cost around $330–$700 and are also proven. Ali themselves very well.

A single-group mixer (one 900 ml cup) is sufficient for serving customers in a small mobile outlet. However, in practice, a more powerful mixer allows for significant savings on raw materials, and due to its speed, increases customer flow and reduces the rate of abandoned orders. Imagine the emotions customers experience in the heat while a domestically produced mixer hums obnoxiously for three minutes! A standard 900 ml container for five servings typically requires 200 ml of milk (any milk with at least 3% fat content is suitable), 40 grams of ice cream, and 20 ml of sugar syrup, which imparts aroma and flavor. It's wise to purchase raw materials in bulk from cold storage facilities or companies specializing in milk foam production equipment.

Cocktail syrups are sold in liter-sized plastic bottles with a special dosing cap. Milk and ice cream are also readily available. The retail price of a 200-gram glass of ready-made cocktail is 5 hryvnia, with the cost of ingredients being around one hryvnia, sometimes less. To set up a small "cocktail" base, you'll need a stand, a bin for used cups, and disposable tableware—cups and straws. Two salespeople working in shifts handle the work.
