Double-sided stainless steel evaporator (see photo 3)
Poor water quality is one of the main reasons for equipment failure. We've designed a dual-rinse system, which extends the life of the equipment and improves the quality of the ice produced. A double-sided stainless steel evaporator significantly reduces mineral buildup, producing harder ice, and improves pump and compressor performance.

Individual crescent-shaped cubes
Hoshizaki's patented stainless steel evaporator eliminates the need for a special coating. We produce individual ice cubes on a flat stainless steel freezing surface. This eliminates the problems of plastic profiles, nickel plating, and ice dropouts commonly used by competitors. Individual crescent-shaped cubes are produced from pure water, and all impurities are washed away after each cycle, resulting in crystal-clear, strong ice.
