Description. Ice maker Hoshizaki KM-35A
The Hoshizaki ice maker is designed to operate at incoming water temperatures from +5C to +35C, ambient temperatures from +5C to +40C, and even at high humidity. The principle of operation is that water is fed to a vertical stainless steel evaporator. Only the purest water molecules freeze there, resulting in crystal-clear ice cubes. Hoshizaki KM-35A ice makers are the ideal choice when you need confidence in the result. Features of Hoshizaki KM-35A models : Hoshizaki ice makers are insulated to significantly increase their reliability. The cold and humidity zones are separated from the electrical and heating zones. Ice maker insulation characteristics: Polyurethane insulation of the evaporator - increased efficiency, reduced kWh consumption Sealed evaporator compartment: - protects the evaporator from the environment - improvement of sanitary conditions - the growth of bacteria is reduced - less frequent cleaning of the evaporator - compressor protection from condensation Insulation of the compressor compartment prevents heat from flowing from the compressor to the ice production and storage compartment. HoshiGuard Protection - Antibacterial Protection Insulated pump compartment - protects the pump motor windings from moisture and condensation Half-moon ice is unique in that it rotates easily in any direction, compacting the ice pieces tightly against each other to fill the bin as much as possible. No air pockets form in the bin, even though the ice pieces don't stick to each other. The Hoshizaki KM-35A features an air-cooled condenser and compressor. The ice bin for storing crescent ice is lined with high-density foam insulation, preventing rapid melting. A double-sided stainless steel evaporator significantly reduces mineral buildup, producing harder ice, and improves pump and compressor performance.

Hoshizaki's patented stainless steel evaporator eliminates the need for a special coating. We produce individual ice cubes on a flat stainless steel freezing surface. This eliminates the problems of plastic profiles, nickel plating, and ice dropouts commonly used by competitors. Individual crescent-shaped cubes are produced from pure water, and all impurities are washed away after each cycle, resulting in crystal-clear, strong ice.
