Description. Freestanding ice maker FROSTY HZB-15
The compact, stand-alone ice maker FROSTY HZB-15, with a capacity of up to 15 kg per day, can be used in offices, cafes, bars, restaurants, and at home. The FROSTY HZB-15 ice maker is unique in that it can operate either independently or from a water supply. All necessary components for connecting to a water supply are included with the ice maker. The FROSTY HZB-15 model produced before 2019 had a poorly implemented autonomous mode. The contacts that detect the lack of water in the reservoir are located quite high. Consequently, for the ice maker to operate autonomously, it must constantly contain at least 3 liters of water. This requires refilling the ice maker after dispensing 3-4 12-cube servings. In 2019, the manufacturer made design changes to the ice maker, and it no longer has this issue. An ice maker can also be the best gift for your loved ones. The small size of the device allows it to be installed both in a private kitchen and on a bar counter or in another convenient place. The optimal balance between price, quality and power of the device makes it one of the most popular models. The stylish stainless steel case will allow it to take its rightful place. It should be noted that this is the only compact ice maker model with a stainless steel body; all other similar models have a plastic body painted to look like metal. The FROSTY HZB-15 model operates in autonomous mode as follows. To start the ice maker for the first time, fill the ice maker reservoir completely to the maximum level (approximately 4 liters). The water should cover the contacts located just below the maximum water level. If the ice maker has not been turned off and is running continuously, then water should be added as needed or when the indicator signals a lack of water in the tank. If the ice maker was turned off during operation, then to restart the ice maker, you must add water to the reservoir, just as when you first turned it on to "start" the ice maker. This means that the bartender must understand that each time the ice maker is turned on in standalone mode, they must ensure that the water reservoir is initially 100% full. Then, add water as needed.
