The FROSTY HZB-15 model operates in autonomous mode as follows.
To start the ice maker for the first time, fill the ice maker reservoir completely to the maximum level (approximately 4 liters). The water should cover the contacts located just below the maximum water level.
If the ice maker has not been turned off and is running continuously, then water should be added as needed or when the indicator signals a lack of water in the tank.
If the ice maker was turned off during operation, then to restart the ice maker, you must add water to the reservoir, just as when you first turned it on to "start" the ice maker.
