The unique IM series of ice makers is designed with special attention to hygiene. A fresh batch of clean water is used in each ice maker production cycle, ensuring only the highest quality ice. Hoshizaki IM series units use a closed-cell system with an automatic flush cycle. After each new batch of ice is produced, the water cells are flushed and refilled with fresh water.

A tight-fitting, removable gasket around the bin door prevents any unwanted particles from entering. The machine's body is made of stainless steel.
