We present to you the grains of the Lucky-Popkorn company. Special popcorn grains are grown in ecologically clean regions of southern Ukraine: · Butterfly opening. · Humidity – 13.5-14.0%. · High percentage of grain opening. · Seeds - Zangger (USA), grown in the fields of Odessa and Kherson regions. The grain is supplied in unmarked bags, weighing 25 kg. Popcorn has been made for thousands of years by ancient Native Americans, who discovered a variety of corn that puffs up when heated. This is explained by the unique structure of the kernel, which contains a droplet of starch containing water. When heated, the water boils, the steam bursts the shell, and the kernel opens, expanding in volume. Popcorn, like its source material, is very rich in fiber. It supports digestion and contains vitamins B1 and B2, as well as potassium. It should be taken into account that raw materials are purchased by weight, while finished popcorn is sold by volume. The degree of expansion is the most indicative characteristic. This indicates the volume of finished product (in cm³) produced from one gamma kernel. The higher the better, as it contains more air per serving. This results in more airy popcorn. For example, if the expansion ratio is 40, then only about 25 grams of kernels are required to produce 1 liter of finished popcorn. A standard American serving of 1 ounce (28.4 grams) of kernels is approximately 1 liter of popcorn. However, it's important to keep in mind that the expansion ratio claimed by all sellers is a value obtained under laboratory conditions using a standard MWVT tester at 1400 watts and 250 degrees Celsius.
