Natais is a company with a closed-loop production cycle for popcorn, which is gaining popularity every day. Popcorn has been made for thousands of years by ancient Native Americans, who discovered a variety of corn that puffs up when heated. This is explained by the unique structure of the kernel, which contains a droplet of starch containing water. When heated, the water boils, the steam bursts the shell, and the kernel opens, expanding in volume. Popcorn, like its source material, is very rich in fiber. It supports digestion and contains vitamins B1 and B2, as well as potassium. It should be taken into account that raw materials are purchased by weight, while finished popcorn is sold by volume. The degree of expansion is the most indicative characteristic. This indicates the volume of finished product (in cm³) produced from 1 gram of kernels.
