When heated, the water boils, the steam bursts the shell, and the kernel opens, expanding in volume. Popcorn, like its source material, is very rich in fiber. It supports digestion and contains vitamins B1 and B2, as well as potassium. It should be taken into account that raw materials are purchased by weight, while finished popcorn is sold by volume.
