Vanilla ice cream
Ice cream, made from egg yolk and cream, is the base for many different types of ice cream. If you don't have vanilla sugar on hand, you can use the resulting product as a base for many different types of ice cream.
Compound:
4 egg yolks
100 g of sugar
300 ml of milk
300 ml cream
2 teaspoons vanilla sugar

Bring the milk to a simmer over low heat. Whisk the yolk and sugar. Then, whisking continuously, slowly pour the milk and cream into the beaten yolk.
