Cooking rice. Hendi 240410 1.8L Rice Cooker
1. Measure out the rice using a measuring spoon. Wash the rice in a separate bowl until the water runs clear. Bran can impart an unpleasant odor to cooked rice. Rinse the rice thoroughly and vigorously to remove the bran.
2. Place the rinsed rice in a container and add water. To cook, for example, 10 servings of rice, fill the container with water to the 10 mark. Do not exceed the maximum level.
3. Place the container in the rice cooker. Ensure the container is in direct contact with the burner by rotating it slightly to the right and left. Dry the outside of the container thoroughly before use. Moisture can cause cracking during cooking and damage the rice cooker.
4. Close the outer lid of the appliance. Failure to close the lid properly will negatively impact the brewing process.
5. Plug the power cord into a power outlet. Once connected, the yellow keep-warm light will come on. This does not indicate that the rice is cooking. Press the power switch when the rice is ready to cook. The red rice cooking light will come on.
6. Once cooking is complete, the switch will pop out. The temperature maintenance light will come on, signaling the start of maintenance.
7. After this, the lid should be left on the device for at least another 15 minutes in order for the water to evaporate and the rice to soften. 8. Stir the rice with a spoon.
9. The temperature maintenance function will remain active until the power cord is disconnected.

• Before washing, always unplug the device from the power supply and wait until it cools down.

• Any vinegar or salt residue may cause corrosion of the container surface.
• Use a plastic or wooden spoon to serve rice. Do not use metal spoons or spatulas, and do not place spoons, forks, or bowls in the container.
• After repeated use, discoloration of the non-stick coating may occur, which does not affect its properties.
