The 5KEK1522EOB electric kettle combines the signature design and high functionality inherent in KitchenAid appliances. The 1.5-liter capacity is sufficient for preparing hot drinks for several family members at once, and the heat retention feature eliminates the need to constantly turn the appliance on to achieve the desired temperature. The minimum water requirement for this electric kettle is 0.25 liters. The kettle's cast metal body features a comfortable handle and a removable water filter. The lid opens when you press a button on the kettle handle. Thanks to the double-wall design, the water in the kettle stays hot longer without heating up the outside of the body. The desired heating temperature can be selected using the temperature selection knob. The heating level can be monitored using a scale indicator - as the water heats up, the indicator arrow rises. The cord is stored in a compartment at the base of the device.
