The absence of air in the vacuum bag inhibits the growth of aerobic bacteria and fungi, protecting the products from rotting and mold, and also prevents weathering.
For restaurateurs, the fact that a chamber sealer can vacuum-seal products for sous-vide cooking is indispensable.
Vacuum sealing extends the shelf life of fresh and frozen products several times over.
A smooth vacuum bag containing the product is placed into the chamber of the vacuum packer, and after the lid is closed, the operating cycle is automatically started: air is pumped out first from the chamber and then from the bag, after which the package is sealed.
This ensures more complete removal of oxygen and increases the vacuum depth compared to chamberless vacuum packers.
The vacuum chamber is made of high-quality stainless steel with a thickness of 3 mm.
Products can be packaged in bags of varying thicknesses, including those with an aluminum layer.
The vacuum duration, sealing temperature, sealing and cooling time are adjusted on the electronic control panel and vary depending on the type of product and packaging.
The operating cycle is started by closing the lid and occurs automatically, and when the process is completed, the vacuum sealer lid opens automatically.
Vacuuming time: from 0 to 99 sec. (default 20 sec., for liquids 25 sec. is recommended).
Sealing time: from 0 to 3.5 sec (1.5 sec for thick film, 3 sec for aluminum layer).
Sealing temperature level: low, medium and high (for thick film or with an aluminum layer, high is recommended).
Cooling time: default 2s.
For aluminum film, 15s is recommended to avoid wrinkling.
The vacuum sealer can only be transported in an upright position; tilting it may damage the pump.
The device is installed on a flat surface.
More than 5 cm of space should be left on the sides for ventilation.
