The AK island exhaust hood with grease trap is designed to maintain safe and comfortable work conditions in professional kitchens of restaurants, canteens, and cafes. The need for a high-quality ventilation system in a professional kitchen stems from sanitary and occupational safety regulations. Kitchens are exposed to the long-term operation of various heating equipment, evaporating moisture and grease. Prolonged exposure to poorly ventilated areas with abundant fumes negatively impacts the health and productivity of staff. In the vast majority of cases, natural ventilation is insufficient; even an open window or service door does not solve the air quality problem in a professional kitchen. To maintain high-quality air in a professional kitchen, forced-air ventilation systems, such as exhaust hoods, are essential.
