Description. KitchenAid 5KCM0802EOB Black Pour-Over Coffee Maker
Combining the manual brewing method with the latest automation technology, this coffee maker can be programmed 24 hours in advance, so you can set yourself up for a energizing start to your day, a mid-afternoon pick-me-up, or an evening of relaxation. Designed in collaboration with professional baristas, our coffee maker expertly emulates the manual brewing process. Our pour-over system first moistens the ground coffee and then pours a generous amount of water over it. This allows the ground coffee to better absorb the water, resulting in a richer aroma. Our unique brewing technology heats the water to 93°C (200°F) before evenly infusing the ground coffee… ready for your cup, just in time. The 1.18L water tank, positioned on top to minimize heat loss, is enough to brew 2-8 cups without refilling. A warming plate keeps the coffee warm in the carafe for up to 30 minutes without overheating it. The status indicator clearly displays every step of the coffee brewing process, from heating to saturation. You can select a medium or dark roast with a single touch to fine-tune the brewing process and achieve your desired flavor.
