KRUPPS DEP 20 water softeners The water softening process extends the life of connected equipment, thereby eliminating unnecessary costs and hassle. The water softener filter operates on the principle of ion exchange of hardness salts (calcium) for sodium ions. Along with the water, hardness salts enter a tank containing a cation exchange resin. As they pass through the cation exchange resin, the hardness ions are replaced by sodium ions in the resin, softening the water as it exits the tank. Operating conditions of the water softener: - working pressure in the water supply network - from 1 to 8 bar; - water temperature from 4 to 15°C; They are installed as auxiliary equipment, complete with dishwashers, coffee makers, combi steamers, convection ovens with humidification, food boilers and other water heating devices.

The water softener filter operates on the principle of ion exchange of hardness salts (calcium) for sodium ions. Along with the water, hardness salts enter a tank containing a cation exchange resin.
