Alto-Shaam, an international company, was founded by Jerry Maas in 1968 in Wisconsin, USA. It specializes in producing heating equipment for restaurants, hotels, casinos, retail stores, cafeterias, catering companies, gas stations, and fast food outlets.

Since 1971, the company has entered the market with its patented Halo Heat low-temperature cooking and food preservation/finishing technology.
